Some details

It turns out the vacation rental company I was going to go with was a little shady. And the prices they were telling me were not actual.

So...

It would end up costing several grand to rent a place to house us all.
(Maybe I'll do it next time it's my turn) :)

So we are going to host everyone at our casa. Now, don't freak out, we will have everything arranged nicely, everyone will have their own space and it will be well organized and comfy! :) (Plus, it's only for two nights and three days)

The important thing is that we all get to spend some time together! It'll be fun, I promise, and you won't regret coming. I love you all, and look forward to spending a few fun filled days with you.

PS: MAKE SURE YOU LOOK AT THE POST BELOW THIS! (it's awesome!)

An Exciting Event to get Ready For!

BYRANT PARK-FASHION WEEK

In 1943, during WWII when travel was restricted to Paris, the fashion industry's exclusive inner circle was unable to view French fashion shows. This spurred the creation of New York's Fashion Week, which gave a platform for up and coming American designers to unveil their work.

One year later, it moved to it's most permanent location, Bryant Park. Here massive white tents are set up throughout the park, and designers and fashion magazines came in droves to showcase the latest innovations in American fashion.

For the reunion we are bringing New York's fashion week to Utah (for a couple of hours) :) And the latest, rising designers? YOU ALL! However, we are going to put a little twist on fashion. New York's high fashion meets country, in our Duct Tape Fashion Show!!! For this, participants can create their very own fantastic duct tape item, whether it's a dress, a tux, a handbag or even a hat. Each family must enter at least one item in the fashion show, but you're welcome to enter more. (The more the merrier!) And there will be prizes for the winners! So put your heads together and get taping! You've got a little over a month to finish your fabulous fashionable designs!

PS: You can use other items to jazz up your duct tape creation (like maybe feathers, sequins, or anything fabulous you have lying around), just make sure most of it is made of duct tape.

Here are some ideas: (And Google will probably have even more!!)
